At Ledger Leaf, all our hemp is sourced directly from our family farm, Foxfire Fields. Our cannabis is a BaOx variety which yields a high CBD concentration and minimal THC content.
After planting, the hemp begins to bud, usually around four months, depending on when it is planted. Samples of the flower are sent to an independent lab to ensure quality.
Once the bud is cured, it is processed at a local facility, resulting in a full-spectrum CBD distillate. Then, we mix and bottle the final product to sell it at our farm stand. Because it comes directly from the farm, we offer our oil for less than wholesale prices.
